I have got a lot of emails from you recently. I have replied to each of them, but sometimes I have got an error message saying that the reply could not be delivered. I think the problem is that some providers/countries are blocking ProtonMail (for example: Russia - https://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-protonmail-idUSKBN1ZS1K8 ).
So, if you didn't get a reply from me, please know that I really tried. If your problem is still not solved, you may try using a different email provider (or write here).
Hi all,
The messages displayed by the faucet when it runs out of Bitcoin were quite confusing. I have just updated them, so that instead of "Something went wrong..." it displays "The faucet run out of Bitcoin...". Hopefully this will make it less stressful next time it happens.
The faucet balance has been refilled. Apologies that it took so long.
If you are getting the "Something went wrong... If it happens again, please contact us" message when trying to claim from the faucet (while everything else works normally), then:
1. Double check that you are not using multiple accounts or cheating the faucet in any other way. Please be aware that changing your IP address does not change your body, you are still the same person.
2. If you don't, then contact me by email to resolve the issue. Be prepared that I may need to ask you a few questions about your account.
This is affecting less than 0.01% of people using Yescoiner. Still, apologies for the inconvenience if you are an honest person and it affected you.
The Faucet is back. Apologies for the problem.
The faucet is designed to never pay more Bitcoin than I own. When the website is under attack (bots, people registering thousands of accounts using VPN), it may happen that it drains all the funds. Because I do not want to be in the position where I have obligations to pay the users more than I own, stopping the faucet temporarily seems to be only way to deal with this kind of situations. (if you have better ideas on how to deal with cheating, let me know)
The faucet run out of Bitcoin. It is refilled now. Apologies for the problem.
