As with trying out new Technology, finding investable ideas and other things, there are a few concerns that might crop up. Including serious ones like privacy and violation / lack of clarity of user's rights.

There are no hard and fast rules that really guide users since some of the sites are said to be international concepts/ventures which are hosted by others and not started with user's involvement in most of the cases.

As with Some sites wanting KYC and other checks, I think mentioned at some places as necessary and some places not mandatory which shows the scope or extent of the site's working / usage. But that does not guarantee the complete veracity and long-term working as is said
" Everything is subject to market risks" and users are left unanswered sometimes for loss of assets, if too badly dealt with, users will stop using their services and talk to relevant authorities in their area/ city (which hampers the sites businesses/ crypto verse-future) and I hope that itself sets a tone for the work atmosphere for both the site-hosts and users.

What one's sense would suggest is using a work-only computer which does not contain personal files/ sensitive data and dedicated mail-id and/or phone number which should essentially help a user to try out things if necessary, minimizing risk. [ up to you to invest wisely depending on usage, dedication of time and effort from your-end]
